لا ينطق حرفى "GH" اذا اتيا بعد حرف "I"

IGH

ضوء – عالى
-HIGH
LIGHT
تنطق هاى لايت

لا ينطق حروف "UGH" اذا اتيا بين حرفى "A-T"

ابنة
DAUGHTER
تنطق دوتر

ينطق حرفي GH كحرف F في بعض الحالات مثل:

يكفي
ENOUGH
تنطق اناف

سعال/يسعل
COUGH
وتنطق كاف
